A photosynthetic pigment is a pigment that is present in chloroplasts or photosynthetic bacteria and captures the light energy necessary for photosynthesis. In this video lectures comprehensive discussion is made on photosynthetic pigments. The range of visible light and light absorption in variety of pigments are discussed well in this video lecture.
