I would get some gauges to monitor the truck. The three most common gauges people run in the 7.3, including me, is exhaust gas temperature, transmission temperature, and boost.

My first time driving a diesel was for a concrete company I drove, The power strokes are so fun! And the turbos are loud as all hell. Not super fast but good torque.

Need a way to see transmission temps and egts. A way to see oil and fuel pressures plus boost would be nice. I have an edge insight for monitoring stuff. It also does trip logging so I can review everything later.

I’ve been waiting for this video. I talked to you and gave you some tips on how to install it. Guess you figured it out lol. Another thing. Is I would highly recommend you get a cold air intake. The tuner will be starving the truck of air with that stock airbox.

Shouldn’t be to hard on the trans if you floor it after around 20+mph. Under that and you might feel some hard shifting

@@powerstrokecentral I got the gloshift 3 in one pillar gauge on my 2000 Excursion and it works great,go check it out. I have trans temp, EGT and boost pressure. But you will need a day to install it you have to drill the exhaust manifold and have a port to connect the boost tube to. The 4R100 has a plug that you remove to put the thermocouple into. The manifold is the hardest because you have to drill and tap it but they all require you to do it.👍
