This presentaion relates the experience of working with these tools. From a perspective of almost a complete outsider this talk describes the situation very well. Wires everywhere, not exactly complicated but is certainly overwhelming. Your brain hates it because it's a mess you have no hope of cleaning up, yet you have to function within it. It is a hopeful idea that if collectively people keep working towards making developer work itself less stressful, frustrating and disorganized, sooner or later these issues will be solved. Great talk.

I think you need to be funny to do standup, but my dissertation at university was on standup comedy. I interviewed various comedians which was fun

Personally, I enjoyed the style and appreciated the engaging nature of the presentation. Definitely could be too high energy for some though, for sure!
