This is a very good video for anyone who has some basic knowledge of sentence types, but struggles when it comes to figuring out whether a sentence is complex or simple especially when there's a lot of phrases with verbs in a sentence.

all the dislikes are from people who failed their grammer exam only watching the first 10 seconds of the video. anyway the video was very nice , it explained things so easily that my teachers had trouble doing it . it would have been even more better if u would have given more examples . maybe make a video on worskheet on phrases and clauses

Not all clauses are complete sentences, however, they can be. Part of the problem comes in deciding if the verb in the clause is transitive or intransitive; in fact, some verbs can be both.
