Genuinely, I love this so much, the writing and comedy feels like something a collective of 3 different highschool anime clubs would have made in 2013. And the voice acting is fantastic, it's so fun to see the guys goof around like silly half-priced moonshine dogs. Imagine if Monica got involved with voice acting with them, they could legitimately do a professional sounding voice over for these games.

I don't know where the hell they found this but this is PEAK oneyplays material.

This is so much more interesting than most AAA games tbh. It’s even surprisingly well made, the animations are pretty smooth and the characters are thoughtfully designed. The menu and character selection screen is pretty funny and seems to actually work well. The writing is funny and just the right balance between sense and nonsense, and there’s no spelling errors that I’ve seen. I know some of these aren’t really great praises, but I’ve seen a lot of games that try to do what this game does and fails because “oh it’s just a meme game so I don’t actually have to try” so everything is broken, nothing works, constant spelling errors, a “lol random” sense of humor combined with “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” mentality to the writing so most of it is just filler and stupid, nothing looks even remotely decent- not in a funny way, just a lazy way, these guys don’t look “decent” but they look stupid and weird in a way that shows hard work and creativity- I really like this game. Unironically. This game actually tries. And it does a pretty bang up job, too. Fuck, I’d honestly pay money for this game; and I will. I also hope they play more, but gosh I’m actually impressed to finally see a stupid meme game that’s actually well made, I can’t remember the last time that happened.

This game is so perfect for these guys that it might as well be called Oneyplays: the game; the way the characters speak and act is almost exactly how they talk about their hypotheticals. This is why I watch this channel, I wouldn't know this game existed without it.

I love how Lyle and Tomar are playing their characters as straight as possible, and so those voices change as little as possible, where as Cory and Chris are leaning into the bit that this game is, and so those voices devolve into Mr. Bean and a higher pitch Corey. It also helps that Tomar and Lyle chose easier voices to do.

David Cage, Hideo Kojima and Todd Howard brought us this masterpiece...western games aren't dying after all.
