The fifth day of my trip to Phuket started with a gourmet tour of Phuket Town, where I had dim sum and bak kut teh at Chokchai Dim Sum, followed by a visit to Crispy Pork Ji Hong, a famous restaurant for its crispy pork. For lunch, we went to Mee Ton Poe, a long-established restaurant serving Hokkien mee. All the restaurants were delicious and popular among the locals. At night, we went to the night market where the New Year's Eve celebrations were in full swing, and enjoyed eating and walking around. Then we joined the countdown event. It was a very enjoyable New Year's Eve with a wonderful atmosphere.
