I hated that a rose turned a shade of blue. No one can sing like Phyllis. This song alone, gives evidence of this. I loved this song since day one when the album come out over 20 years ago, and this song still stands the test of time. If anyone ask you who is Phyllis Hyman, do not say a word just play this song it explains it all. Phyllis you are missed and you are still loved. A fan for the rest of my life. Definitely a wedding song for all times.

Can we talk her microphone technique is so amazing. The way she's pulling the microphone away from her mouth to create fade out... Can we pause and talk about this for a second ? And she does it in every performance so effortlessly. Great body language, stage performance and whistling.

I was on the corner of E. 79th and Union heading North at the light in Cleveland Ohio. When this terrible news hit the radio 93 FM WZAK Early Afternoon. I was and still am sick to my soul. she was simply the best. While in prison She made my time manageable. Well missed and loved. Never good bye... Always hello!!!!

"Meet Me On The Moon' is one of the most romantic and passionate song I have ever heard. Singing about the symphony and the moon so much metaphors that only the wise can comprehend. I enjoy seeing Phyllis Hyman captured and immortalized for all of us to be honored. I am thinking of my angel and what he means to me as I am listening to the wonderful diva work her magic. I love you my angel with all my heart. We are Forever!

***** all of these industries are ran by the government. Praise the satanist and their god or else. It's a gradual process to that reality. By then it's too late. Like the mafia (which they also run) you can only blood-out of your agreement. The newscasters as well.

***** She was truly an AMAZING talent!! Love, love, love me some LiLI! I too, at a young age, fell in love with her commanding voice- and there has been no other - she was, and still is in a class of her own! And I also was saddened when she left the world of music and this earth. I will forever love her music. RIP, LiLi...

It hurt her to the core...I met her on 22 Walnut St. in Philly across from the Video Store...lol where are video stores now... now... extinct...like Dinosaurs. Right.

Phyllis delivered the completed master tapes for the "I Refuse To Be Lonely" album(Philadelphia International/Zoo Entertainment/BMG) only a few days before we lost her. I got an advance copy, took it home, took the phone off the hook, cut out the lights, and let Phyllis talk to me through that CD: the whole album is Phyllis Hyman's suicide note. Rest on, sweet lady, I know you were tired, now you will never ever be lonely, love you always.

I will never forget the day that the Zoo Entertainment aka Zoo Records president brought Phyllis into my office. Before Lou could even tell her my name Phyllis and I were already hugging and kissing. I was in such awe of her. Can't wait to read my friend Jason's book that he fought like hell to write. It was not mental illness that took Phyllis---it was a broken heart, singing of love yet having no one to love. Phyllis had died mentally and emotionally way before she went physically.

Omg, why don’t people stop associating Phyllis with mental illness and death? It’s so depressing! She has too many GOOD WORKS that have NOTHING to do with those things. Joy and pain is a part of life to those that LIVE it to the fullest. Let Phyllis keep her good reputation of delivering good lyrics in song & leave her tragic story be told to those that seek it. We come to U TUBE for her music. I don't think her rep deserves to be treated like one in the tabloids(negative comments).
