Pursuing (sell this book and make anime) did not mean i was afraid of death or afraid of failure. I calmly accepted death and failure. Whether (way to contact Gu Zhen Ren) existed or not, there was no evidence to prove it. But even if it did not exist, so what? I am enjoyed the process.

I've honestly been thinking almost the same things as you in regards to convincing the author to pick up the novel again. Every time I see new news and updates for Lord of The Mysteries' anime or game, I just immediately think about how Reverend Insanity could've had that and more, and it really pains me; its been over 3 years now... I'm very happy to see someone taking real action into making RI anime, and its continuation a slight possibility. I'm not in a position where I can invest into your plans at the moment, but if you are still continuing with this after a few years I guarantee that I can. I am rooting for your success! :)

Although I must say that the life extension shenanigans you've mentioned at the end aren't nearly so realistic haha... Perhaps starting with getting an actual good manhua/manga version would be good first, before any anime. It's easier to promote and draw the target audience that will like RI with a manga, than a physical LN book, as the target audience will mostly be those who already watch anime/read manga/LOTM fans/donghua fans I feel like. To even have the possibility of producing an anime for this, a manga is a must.

This is simply a fantasy. I like the ideas of making edits, and growing RI's popularity that way. But anime? Open a research center for life extension? All investors will get more lifespan? Bruh put down whatever drugs you're on and think logically. Forget about making an anime, that requires alot of resources & connections that aren't feasible for most. The most logical next step is to create or restart the RI Manhua (Manga), that alone will grow the base by many folds.

@@reverendinsanitygod No, if that was indeed the case, then there would be a lot more anime in existence. Just take some time and think about what it takes exactly to create an anime. I can guarantee that it takes 5x (or more) less the amount of effort to create manga, than to create an anime. There's a reason why there's more evil mc novels, than evil mc's manga, and only like 1-2 evil mc anime. It all boils down to the barrier to entry for each entertainment medium.
