i don't want to criticize or generalize teachers but if every teacher could explain as clear as this professor, at least physics, I believe we could be learning this at an early age fairly easy and efficiently. Thank you a lot for these videos

we all need to understand this is the schooling system which is creating these types of teacher in school who only knows how to complete the syllabus

I have watched 150+ videos and i am so greatfull. I am studying abroad not in my country and i dont know the language, plus the profesor teaches really fast and bad. Without you i honestly dont know what i would do. You saved my grade and my money not going to private lessons. Words cant discribe how thankful i am to you :)

9 mins spend on your video worth more than 30 mins on the other resources. So simple, so precise and so informative. Thank you so much!

You are excellent. Without you, I think I would fail to grasp this topic. You explain it in a much more intelligible way than my professor at my university. Thank you

Sir what is the difference between x and A? In the right equation why did you use x and not A? Thanks!
@MichelvanBiezen5 жыл бұрын
x is the variable expressing how far the object is from the equilibrium point at any time. A is the maximum amplitude of the oscillation (the maximum value x can have).

X is a general variable of displacement from the mean position- A is its terminal value, ie the maximum value of x. Likewise -A would be the other extreme value of x ( max displacement from mean position in the opposite side)

I'm confuse, what are the difference of A and X.. If A is the amplitude which the distance from the equilibrium position and X is the position which absolute value of X is A. The it means when A=0 then X=0? if the box is in the original position the potential energy is zero PE=1/2(k)(x), x=0 the E=1/2(k)(A)=0 since x=0, then A=0 but it shouldn't be because of the KE.
@MichelvanBiezen7 жыл бұрын
A is a constant. It represents the maximum amplitude of the oscillatory motion. x is a variable. It represents the position of the oscillator at any time during its oscillation.

I see.. Thank you for your reply :) Do you have any lecture for Anharmonic Oscillator.
