Sir I'm confused with galvanometer connection as it doesn't deflect the other side . So Galvanometer +ve to terminal of meter bridge or to the jockey

Galvanometer +ve to Terminal of meter bridge and galvanometer -ve to jockey

galvanometer is not affected by terminals, you can connect however you want , it will just change the direction of deflection
