one of my friends scored terribly in jee mains and couldnt even clear cutoff for jee advanced, so naturally he decided to take a a drop and let me tell you he worked hard like a madman…i used to watch him study for 18 hours every single day his mom told my mom that his routine was making everyone in the family worry about his health. Like she told us that he used to wake up and without a second thought open his maths books and solve questions for the next 5 hours up until 10:00 am and then quickly finsh up his breakfast and start with physics…everyday same routine and every saturday Sunday 6 hours test jee adv and mains level depending on his preparation level. Now you might just day dream about having such a packed schedule which lays down a path to success but he lived it. Then after 8 months of dedicated self study like this (not to mention he had completed his syllabus in the first 2 months of the drop year itself with that schedule which is quite believable and admirable) finally came the day of reckoning …since i was his building neighbour i was with him during his preparation time as a friend and also on his result day along with his entire family. Jee mains was pretty easy for him he said (can you believe it, 8 months back he was terribly shot down down by the most gruesome setback in a jee aspirants life- not being able to CLEAR jee mains- and look at him now) So undoubtedly he score a whopping 290 in jee mains with 100 in maths. # just a slight addition- he worked his ass off to master mathematics to a level where he was just unbeatable…like legit he knew answers to some questions even before he looked at them. Funnily he had scored 8 marks in his previous attempt. ..moving on..he immediately started with advanced prep after his jee mains first attempt. Worked for freaking 15 hours on problems ranging from irodov to pathfinder in physics..SL loney to a-das gupta in maths and even some serious INMO level questions..foreign authors for chemistry and honestly i dont even know the names. finally the day of jee advanced- he was relaxed but his parents were a little tense (naturally) he gave his first paper, didnt say a word, which worried his mom (so she told us) and then geared up for paper 2…looked happy after that. before the result day description…lemme tell you what he did in that one week gap -this crazy ass lad went on a solo trip to himachal (i laughed when his dad told me that he has gone out of station-ALONE) came back after 6 days and next day was result day we’re all gathered around his dinning table cheering for him..i even heard his father tell him “ki agar IIT mei comp sc na mili toh IIITH mei toh counselling fees bharr he di hai, no tension, we are all proud” but destiny had other plans for this metal man. the result downloaded …he read “congratulation you have cleared jee advanced …” and boom he looked up and saw his rank and screamed at the top of his voice -AIR 36 IN THE HOUSE!!!!! we all hurrayed at the top of our voices, lifted him in the air while he cried…my eyes captured a beautiful moment of his father’s eyes filled with tears which as the man of the family he did let roll down his cheek…it was insane! so thats that …hardwork beats the shit out of failures hand down he studied comp sc from iit delhi and got into harvard for his masters. So kudos to him

I feel this is almost the same case mine till 7-9 th class i was also topper of my class i ,till then i had never got less than 96% , I also became over confident in 10th and end up scoring only 82%, for a student who never scored less then 96% this was very low score. And my friends scored 90%+ i thought i will improve my performance again in 11 but only scored 70% . From 96% to 70% i could not imagine how worsen my performance became. And again same in 12th i also started sleeping in afternoon and wasting whole day and at night getting depressed that i wasted whole 3 months of 12 like this And now i promise from now I'll get back on track where I left off in 9th. Hey guys! I am telling this from the perspective of an IIT Madras Student - I'd strongly suggest you to opt out of JEE in case you feel it's not for you. It is true that, There are a 100 ways to make money. Dropping one year for JEE is totally fine, BUT have enough awareness of your strengths and weaknesses, and then take the decision. IIT can make you but can also Break you. It's your curiosity and love for studies that will save you in such a competitive place. Also, Learn skills after joining IIT or any other college. Some students learn even before they come to IITM, and such people always stay ahead of other students whose only achievement in life is clearing the JEE with 0 extra skills! Your skills will matter a lot to the employer in the internship (3nd year) & placement (4th year) interviews in any college. Not everyone here is getting 1Cr packages. Also, the world is changing, education is changing. I do believe a rigorous training like JEE has taught me a lot, but I'd never let it define me. This happened with me too. In 10th I scored 96.6%age, I was very good at studies till that time and never saw others in my competition. Yes, my performance was also brilliant till 10th when i scored 96% and my performance also decreased drastically in 11th and 12th, and with hard core regular school, it became very difficult for me to manage my studies .in 12th, i tried to complete my syllabus for jee but it was not like that because of my poor time management skills and planning .... But now i take a drop for jee 2024, and now i concentrate fully on my studies with proper weekly and day planning for pcm, and i will get an iit if i work hard with full determination....✊️✊️✊️✊️

Thank you for the motivation Sir. I have my advanced in 10 days and I lost hope. I did not waste my 11th or 12th but due to some personal reasons I couldn't get my dream rank in Mains. I scored 98+ in class 10th Boards and in 11th I used to top in almost every Mains in my coaching institute, but slowly due to performance pressure my performance started to degrade and fell to ranks of 60 and 70's. By the last 3 months before my Mains, I lost all hope and stopped going to my coaching because of my fear of failing. For 3 months I tried to come back on track and in the end I got 1706 rank in Mains 2023. My spirit was broken and for over 3 months after my first attempt I lived believing that I can't crack ADVANCE anymore. I scored only 95.8+ in 12th which further degraded my confidence. Sir, seeing this and talking to my teachers has given me some hope that I still can be a top ranker in ADVANCED 2023 and I hope to work my hardest and fight till the end. I do the same thing that Samar did.. My sister used to study in the cooler room but i always switch off the fan and cooler and try to concentrate on my studies without any luxury amenity.. Never thought anyone else might be doing the same thing! The video just popped up on my feed and I'm lucky to find this.. i was also a bright student till class 10th(topper of my region) and started my preparation in 11th online from house itself ...things were going smoothly till mid 11th (I was also going school daily) but after that everything just got out of hand...marks fall down, I couldn't even complete the homework given by teachers and as a result I had only 50%confidence in my 11th...then i decided to take dummy school and went for an offline coaching(one of the worst decisions i made)..in mid term my physics teachers went away and my chemistry teachers were changed like 4-5 times in 3 months which made lose my very important topics ...but still I tried to manage the things and gave jee mains scored 97.25 %ile and now i am preparing for jee advanced will full josh and i don't know what the result will be ..but I WILL GIVE MY BEST THIS YEAR ...just one thing i regret that i had the capability of doing much much better than i did and i think not only the coaching but i am also in fault in some areas but ultimately now whole responsibility is on me ...but today after expressing all this i am feeling very relaxed and now i will be able to concentrate more on my JEE ADVANCED...thank you ASHISH SIR🙏 for this motivating video..i'll surely try my best and will give my 200%in the upcoming JEE ADVANCED 2023 !!

I did the same....but my 10th was good I scored 97.2% in boards and headed to kota allen in phase 4........and I was in their top batch of phase 4,5 and 6. The teachers were pretty good but not all. Teachers just put a lot of loads on students and trying to complete the syllabus as fast they can.....that's create lot of problems and leads to creation of lots of backlogs and now mere 11th ke kuchh chapters weak hai and confidence bhi nhi hai.....but in 12th I decided to change my coaching and giving my best 😊.....In 2024 I will get my dream college 😄 😊 😉.

I am preparing for jee advanced after qualifying in jee mains examination. 28 april filled out a form for jee advanced but one problem occurred: I have paid money and money is deducted from my account but the website is not showing the done fees payment option.

Yes Sir I was very good student till 10th class, Inspite of not studying that much I secured 93.8% in my 10th boards examination in 2020. Unfortunately didn't secure that place in top 10. Then covid came but I studied a lot with my full dedication in class 11 with the help of online classes. At that I used to study whole day and night bcz I always dreamt of AIIMS-D. I was in Allen in class 11th but after September I didn't know what happened to me. I didn't completed my lecture and notes on time...I was left with no spark lectures keep coming daily I didn't use to study.Then in 12th standard went to kota but once again COVID 2nd wave arrived so came back home...I don't know what happened to me All those excitement were gone, in class 12th board I got 87% which was not good...and in NEET 2022 I got failed with very bad marks. Then took drop and went to Aakash kota and once again not getting good marks in NEET 2023. Always dreaming of AIIMS D and even not able to qualify that cut off. Now again I decided to take my 2nd drop ... Don't know what happens but will do whatever I can do

Ha sir I was scored good marks till my class 10 but in class 10 got 89% then i thought I will definitely study hard in class 11 but because I take online classes for jee i was not able to co-operate i ruined class 11 i lost a lot of time but still I have experience I can assure you sir that I am studying hard in offline coaching and will definitely get select in jee 2024 Thank you so much sir 😊

i can truly relate with this story

I was an average student till class 6th I didnt had confidence but I wanted to make my parents feel proud then COVID came and I went in a coaching where there were 3 teachers who are the 3 gods of my life they changed my life completely 1st day I went there and saw that these teachers give respect to students who study and motivate those who don't I thought to be one of those fravourite students I was in class 7th and that sir thought me bio I studies with intrest also then the teast day came and I wanted to get highest in those 8 students and so I did the topper there was shocked as I took her place and then I realised to get on the top you just need to follow basics and that life of confidence is like leaven then I studied next 2 years in that coaching the class 10 came and I left that coaching as I thought boards would be difficult but the new coaching where I go in 10 there also I became the topper in school also all three ters I stood in top 5 in my class I was living a dream finally I gave boards not very serious actually because in my perspective the war is over and I already proved myself still I got 94 percent I was satisfied but my tution teachers said that your percentage could not be less then 97 but I knew I did not have very nice boards then class 11 started and so my bad phase I went to local coaching made friends who have also topped in class 10 and my mentality was that war is already done in class 10 as I had already studied so much in these previous classes but slowly I realised that things are getting out of my hand I was not even able to get in top 10 in my class and this continues I am class in 12 now and really demotivated but now after this vedio I will study for 9 hours daily till next 21 days and will leave this comment on 18th of july💯 I select in IIT or not but I will exit jee zone as a topper and confident guy with mentality Jo samney aye phod denge

Do not torture your body to get things. No matter how hard you work, the number of seats are still constant and even if everyone worked twice as hard they would still not be more successful. Stay away from people who tell you to stop being human, that tell you to not enjoy your childhood. These people only want to see you turn into a slave.

I scored 90 percent in class 10 but My 11th is totally wasted means blundered 😔 and from today I will work hard and will make my class 12 good. I promise you sir.✊ ✔️

11th ke start main bahut kuch complete karne ke baare me socha tha par execution pe firm decisions na lene ke vajah se cheeze pile up hoti gayi aur dheere dheere self confidence bahut Kam hota gaya. It felt like an insurmountable task, that is why my mind said you won't be able to get along, you won't be able to complete, that is why some of my topics are so weak even today and some easy topics are also left untouched.
