very informative! but what other tests can be done in general to confirm the diagnosis?

There are no other tests. Your should rather look at the signs & symptoms during your anamnesis: Symptoms of plantar fasciitis occur gradually. Patients tend to have pain at the onset of weight-bearing activities, such as walking or running, with more pain after the activity. Over the course of the day, the pain may be worse in the morning and lessen throughout the day. The pain can be described as burning, aching and occasionally lancinating. Localized tenderness over the anteromedial aspect of the inferior heel is common

@@Physiotutors ?. Looks like a video below is testing while the patient sits down. And someome said "jacks" test ? Are U sure there are no other tests.. My bloody foot is HURTING now ibent my stupid toe like that to test it out . .. But I didn't have anyone in to help me.. I'm just standing on stairs bending my toe ; hanging off the edge of the stair ; with my finger.. Dunno if some one else should b doing it for me as a test or can we do.ourselvea

I have tightness and discomfort stretching the plantar fascia in the arch but I don’t have any increased pain in the morning/after periods of inactivity. I first felt this tightness doing a plank but had to stop the plank as my foot was in agony.
