You just have to email it to yourself and it will remain there and obviously a backup somewhere else aswell, secure that if you loose your mobile you can still retrieve it,

I think a non-custodial wallet is a better option because it allows us not to have a 3rd party process our transactions so that way there would be less problems with transferring

Non custodial wallet: Allow for a two step verification as well for certain parts, such as logoning into the app could be biometric and then making a payment would be done using the key

In an ideal world, of course, a non-custodial wallet is far far preferable to a custodial one, for what I presume are obvious reasons, but in the real world, you the developer team must needs ensure people cannot modify their funds to inflate the economy. In the case of physical-world currency, this is done by secreting the production process and special markers of the non-custodial currency note, but in the case of a soft-world currency, the network itself must be capable of ensuring the validity of each and every non-custodial stash of Pi.

The Pi wallet should be created in the following, 1. Create a custodial Wallet as well as a non custodial wallet in one, reason being if we as pioneers want to invest and make interest in our cryptocurrency example invest in foreign exchange,than the custodian wallet is already in place to make some investment. 2. Create the pi wallet similar as cryptocurrency wallet, where you can exchange your currency in the same wallet, thus all transfer or exchanges with there interest is kept in the pi network.

Non-custodial wallet is a great option. Having a custodial reference would help the needs of the remaining odds. About the PK I would like to provide a way for biometric authentication so that we may not need the private key all the time. However asking us to login maybe every 48/72 hours to login might be a better option to remember the PK. Apart from that I would suggest the Core Team Members to open up possible options to the user itself, letting them take their own decisions(risk as well) & please do make sure you warn your user with a proper alert(also should involve in an agreement policy before creating a wallet)

I lost my passphrase and don't use my fingerprint in non custodial wallet Nov unlock is impossible now say me that I loss my real p I or I recover my passphrase .

Since you mentioned the Node app, can you please give the option to use it under Linux? All due respect but, using Docker but only for Windows or Mac and not supporting Linux doesn't make much of a sense... thank you!

Non custodial, but with easy send, no information required elements like Ferrum Unifyre link drop wallet. You don't need to know anything of the receipient. Please ensure you review a similar approach it's a critical advantage.

I will prefer non custodial wallet but be sure that utilities are made available for purchase and ensure that there's a unique feature that cannot be duplicated to avoid hackers manipulating it and siphoning hard earned pi coins from pioneers.

Hello sir ! I have heard that for KYC verification, one should upload his/her passport or National ID card...If it's true, all of the pioneers may not have passport...And may not have National ID Card (or Citizenship) too, because of country's law (as in the case of Nepal, until they reach a certain age)...So, please make some flexible documentation process for KYC verification!

I definitely don’t want a 2FA key it’s long and you could lose all your coins etc so definitely not, biometrics like Face ID on Apple, finger print option, 8 digit password or number combination. Also non custodial wallets and custodial would be a better idea as stated below

I suggest a non-Custodial wallet for users to feel free and that will enhance the pi community, but for sending to other users of the orginal 100m miners alone. Anyone esle can exchange Pi on the Pi exchange you make. So the pi miners bring the supply and the outsiders bring the demand and that is how pi can get a fundamental price. The pi miners can either sell their pi to the pi exchange where you as the Exchange can offer earnings and interest for holding on to pi.

Download it from node.minepi.com and then go to the mobile app and enter the code the app node gives you. after that go to the node option and start setting it up. you will be asked to download docker. in CMD type the command: ipconfig. then search for "default gateway", copy the value to your browser, login to your router, go to ports, open a port. type 31400:31409 in both WAN and LAN. go to your firewall app, go to inbound rules, add new rule, select port then next, select TCP and type 31400-31409 then select next, next again, next again, choose a name you will know what that rule is for, and then click finish. back at your node press "check now" and you are all set! (btw you will have to press the check now button every time you restart your computer so it would recognize it. or at least on my computer its this way)

I prefer a wallet where I own my own keys. I've been in the space for a while and understand that this is arguably the most significant feature of this new technology. However, it's a great question because most folk are not accustomed to the idea (nor the need) of having to keep and protect a list of 12, 16, or 24 words... in order to own their own keys, and therefore own their own pi. Can't both options be implemented? Wallet one, and wallet two?

So, the best thing is that it is non-custodial. However, there could be some way to regain access. For example, to enter the wallet you will need a login (email + password) and the private key is inside. Thus, in case of loss of access, the user could recover it, without prejudice to the PK.

Ok the wallet is a great idea. But before the phase 3. Hmm this would make many fake account sending the earning to a wallet no one can reach and take it. First of all before you start anyting i would remove al fake account. Second make sure every one hase a real secure wallet so they wil not lose any pi to hackers. Last be sure that there is products available for trade with pi so there is a fixed price before it comes to the market.
