Awesome! I use a pi4 for my workbench. Similar idea, two cameras (on microscope, on web cam), an Hantek oscilloscope, two monitors. It works great, but I'm planning to update to a pi5.

Nicely done! Waiting for my Pi5, which must come within 8 days. Currently using Pi3B+ almost the same way you are, but due to the limit of 1GB RAM, I have to close the browser/programming IDE when I want to use a camera (microscope). Raspberry Pi in a workshop is very useful, as it takes very little space and allows me to search/read datasheets, watch KZfaq tutorials, program microcontrollers and so on. The only issue is that my Raspberry is attached to the monitor and thus I have to use an external WiFi adapter with an extension cable, hope WiFi antenna on a Pi5 is stronger than on Pi3B+. My advice: make an extension cable for the camera out of the HDMI cable, I have extended it to 1.5 meters and everything works great!

A nifty little SBC. The RPi5 will run OpenCV and TensorFlow Lite very nicely with GPIO PWM servo control. 🥳 Orange Pi 5 should have made servo drone kits. Go RPi5! 🥰 Thank you.
