Fix the stop light not working or working now and then on You Piaggio Vespa PX
The overhaul is easy You just need few metric wrench (two of 10mm and one of 7mm).

Super nice video, thank you. Turns out my brake switch looked pretty new, and the problem was the brake pedal sticking! Lots of cleaning and oil and it's returning well, and brake light functioning correctly!

Thank you so much for this video. I was due to have an MOT test and found that my rear brake switch wasn’t working ( I didn’t even know where to locate it ) Your video was so simple and precise . @@Nynas19 stock, is registered on the historical motor. I don't exclude in the future to make some upgrades 😊

@@CantharusENG nice, but i would recommend to keep the stock exhaust, it sounds way better than a aftermarket one!

@@Nynas19 yes, but some manufacturer make good exhaust close the stock one but with better performance. I like Malossi as performance parts, the make a good exhaust. I will posto You the link later on

Vespa doesn't have stop light switch on the front brake. May be only some late model with the disc brake is equipped with the switch on the front brake 🙂 Thank You for appreciating my work

I have a 1982 px 125. I used ur video to rebuild the carburetor. Thank you so much. I also have to repair the fuel switch control that turns the fuel on and off. I have been told I need a special tool. Is that true? Thank you again. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to more vespa repair videos bc I don't have a lot of resources here in Austin, Texas

Anyway is not impossible, just take more time that You prevent. I will soon restart to make more videos on Vespa in english, the one on the carburetor I will put again improved on audio. Hello i got the vespa pk50 but one problem. It wont start anymore, when i bout the piece that connects the flyweel with the crankshaft. After installing this part, he started. I only needed to fix the rear break and new oil. When we started it, it worked. We put it in 1st and it failed. The engine stopped running and it wont start again. Please help me!

Any other sympthoms? Why filed in 1° gear? the clutch work good? may be just a coincidence. Try to verify in order: 1) That the spark plug is clean and shiny, if wet of oil it wont spark. 2) That You have spark, plug the spark plug ad make the exagon i contact with the head cylinder, move the engine and check that you have spark even little. 3) That fuel go in the cylinder: open wide open throttle and make the engine turn you should see some vapore of fuel or smell gasoline out of cylinder head. carburetor is clean? fresh fuel? usually 2% oil mixture max 3% not more. Let me know.

@@CantharusENG Hello sir, Thanks for the fast answer, you are helping me and my dad very good. So your first poin. After every try we clean the spark plug untill it is shiny. Than we have also tested the spark plug by holding it to the cilinder head. This works (only little spark but i think big enought. Than point 3, we are testing this right now. Disconnected the fuel tank to see if fuel flows. It does but we see a lot of air bubbles. I think that is not good? after this we took out the carburator and looks very clean at first look. We will look in it but now we dont have time. Thats all we have done so far to try and fix it to get it back running. If you want too i cant send you a video where we try to start it. I am very happy that you try to help kind regarts Gust

@@CantharusENG I think the tank is filled up enought beceause the whole filster where the gasoline goes in is 2 cm under the gasoline. It is maybe like some hole that lets air come in. I will let you know my progress. I will have to go to school and work. So it will take some days to start again with working on the vespa.

mine is when it pressed the light goes off, when the pedal free light is on,. iam kinda streesed of that, my first time change body cable, not done yet on stop lamp, where is my mistake sir ? or should i buy new one ?

@@CantharusENG yes 2 pieces cable went to pedal switch, nothing change when i switch the position, when it idle light on, when press down light off, after i bought new one it solve sir, malefucnction on switch brake, 🙏🏻
