Many people who never listen to metal but only pop fell in love with Su because of this piano version. Then they were surprised to find out she was the lead singer of a metal band. Thanks for your great reaction 👍

I have been a BABYMETAL fan for a few years now, and I knew that Su was a great singer. Nevertheless, when I heard this for the first time, it caught me by surprise. This took my appreciation and admiration for her to a completely new level. The way she delivers the emotion is fantastic, apart from the fact that her voice is simply the most beautiful sound on earth. By now I have watched this performance dozens of times, and I have honestly not made it to the end a single time without tears in my eyes.

Cool you know about the BMTH x BM collab they did today and yesterday, probably they will do it again next friday. The three white figures dressed in white are probably a reference to old BM era when YuiMetal was still part of the group or maybe a reference to the new young BM unit they previously performed along with them and are part of this new metalverse project, they already debut at Summer Sonic Festival opening the festival with a set of new songs exclusive for them. When they released this Piano Version the new official member wasn't announced yet, that's why you only see the two of them, after this the official announcement they released another acoustic version of a song called "The One - Unfinished Version" and they included MomoMetal, the new official member in it. If you like emtions, try listening to Akatsuki Unfinished....Better yet, start with Akatsuki from Budokhan, and then listen to Akatsuki Unfinished version. With the Unfinished version, you see a full on performance from Su, from her slight cracking in her voice, the pained smile look on her face, perfect show of emotions in her singing. Then you might want to checkout No Rain No Rainbow from Legend S Baptism XX, what her eyes, you can see it getting glassy and teary eyed.... 😁🤘🦊🤘

Hell yea!! This version wonderfully showcases Su's vocal talents. You'll probably also like Amore (Wembly Live - but may need to put up a watermark for this one) or Akatsuki (Budokan 2014). Both of these are Su-metal solos from when she was younger (16 and 18 respectively) and she absolutely kills it. For reference, both versions of Monochrome you watched are this year when she is 25. 🤘🦊

There's no doubt that this is a beautiful and moving performance; Su is very good at communicating emotion when she sings in a more intimate way. im a 44 year old powerlifter. i listen almost exclusively to 80s and 90s death and thrash metal. vader, massacre, napalm death, bolt thrower, etc. this song makes me cry every fucking time. i didn't know what the fuck was happening the first time ... had no idea a song could even do that. i only stumbled upon baby metal last year because i wanted to have at least a passing familiarity with them before seeing dethklok. went way way down the fox hole. now i play them at the gym if i got dibs on the speaker.

Emotional, yes! Su was born and raised in Hiroshima. So the images in the original Monochrome was powerful and sad. This one is emotional beacuse of the image of the 3 figures in white robes holding hands. It reminds me of the Karate MV and of course, Yui-chan!😢

Dude… I just wanna say THANK YOU!!! I literally just watched back to back about 20 reaction videos to this amazing version. I also listened to the rock version first, and then came across this. I had the benefit of not being on camera/stream and was balling my eyes out! 😂 I think you’re the first to mention how incredibly wonderful and impactful the piano and string are! Also around 6:10 I had the same OMG reaction to her amazing voice…especially at that moment! Another reaction vid tried saying her voice cracked and I almost threw my laptop up! Needless to say I immediately stopped their video cause that was the apex point! Oh this brought me to tears many times... Wonderful reaction. There's many more songs of theirs which make the emotions flow, I implore you to check any and all of them out. No Rain, No Rainbow for example, the Trilogy of Light... Su has an angelic voice. Moa is amazing too, listen to Moabanger, Moa's version of Headbanger. It's makes you wanna hear Moa sing more too!
