And everyone from the younger generations, please remember “freestyles” are never “written beforehand.” If you see someone claiming they’re “freestyling” and the words were pre-written ahead of time, they’re considered “writtens.” What Harry does is true freestyling from the birthplace of Hip Hop (Sedgwick Ave in Bronx, NY). Some people over the years have tried to put freestyling and writtens together as if they’re synonymous. They’re not… Respect from an OG who rhymed for decades. Freestyle is next level over writing.

The rhythmic variety of the rap starting at 10:10 is amazing. The song starts simple but near the end Harry Mack is just dancing all around that groove. Pretty unreal. Never heard a rapper with that much rhythmic vocabulary, freestyle or otherwise. He does it so effortlessly and musically that it's easy to miss just how ridiculously complex it is.
