This video is about a project I did for church wherein we took an old "free" piano that had a couple broken keys and turned it into a keyboard stand.

I love your repurposed piano! As sad as it is to see them pass on, they are reincarnated and much more practical in the digital world! 😊

That piano was made at a dollar an hour wages, now it's 20-30 an hour. Each string in the piano would cost 1-2 dollars today. The oldest piano I ever played on was 235 years old, still in good shape. It was owned by my uncle.

Man, that's cool. May I ask what type of piano and its brand?

How about giving a credit to the pianist for this beautiful rendition of a beautiful piece.

Safer to loosen the strings

Any idea how much it weighs after hitting it? Thanks!

Had to recover my youtube account to make this comment, so, Worst thing to do to a piano:D and kinda ironic choice of music too. At first i thought you use it as a tv station or something, then DJ table , then it become a keyboArd holder:D at the moment i think of canceling all i wrote, but i still press “comment”

Well tbf in the description he says it's for a church. I think it much better fits a church setting than a normal keyboard/dj station would.

If a piano is no longer viable as a playable piano/can’t maintain tune, this at least gives it life rather than being thrown into a landfill.
