Here we discuss a double manual Shudi & Broadwood harpsichord from 1775. It has a Venetian Swell and a machine stop, a nasal register and a lute stop. Frederic the Great owned a few of these and Joseph Haydn owned a Shudi/Broadwood from even the same year.

In the course of time it transpired that a new world opened up for many when they came to view the collection, amateur players, students, and professionals alike, even for some world famous pianists.
