Normally, I'm not one who gets too touched by celebrity deaths, not because I'm heartless but because there's a level of "They didn't know I even existed." That being said, Bray is probably the first famous death since David Bowie where I've actually been emotional about. Where I can't actually believe he's gone, where when I look at Bray I think "I'll never see another one of his matches or see him win another title." I don't know if it's because of how young he was or because Bray had been constantly on my tv for 10+ years or the fact that there's so many touching tributes from all over to him, but there's something about Bray's death that actually bums me out more than it usually would. Rest in Peace, Champ.

The last ‘celebrity’ death that broke me like this was Michael Jackson’s. Not because I don’t care, but it was more in a sense of they don’t know me. Just like with Michael, Wyatt’s passing shook me in a sense of“I’m never gonna hear, or see his art, ever again.” Without sounding selfish, I really wanted to work with him in some capacity, or even shake his hand and thank him. But I will forever cherish the memories he’s given me as a wrestling fan. Follow the buzzards.

Back in 2017 I worked at this Rec/Wellness center..mid shift I’m making my daily rounds, and i’m in the the Men’s locker room, and I see Bray’s reflection in the mirror, maaan I turned around so fast like “I know this ain’t who I think it is..” sure enough it was actually him I was honestly astonished, he was at the lockers I didn’t say a word but I could just feel how cool bro was, legit was an amazing experience..REST UP BRO💯🙏🏽🖤
