I loved season 3 in particular and every single cast member on that stage. There was one particular line I remember really well and that's Crusher's, "A lot has happened in the last 20 years". I felt that line just summed up McFadden's experience through her stay in Star Trek and it was great humour too. She always wanted this fierce character, she always hoped Crusher would be that, and finally she got it.

Terry Matalas conjured up the much missed spirit of Star Trek with bringing back the TNG cast. But it's not just pure fan service. It was interwoven with interesting character development and good story arcs. You can really tell that Matalas is a true fan and given the circumstances he really made the best out of it. 🖖

No surprise as with perhaps a few exceptions...the TNG crew has always been one of the finest and that for guests stars that come on the shows or movies, from what I heard that the TNG crew always made them feel welcome. Of course there are the legendary bloopers by the TNG cast which have been known to drive directors insane.

Fabulous mix of screen and off screen magic that gave us, Picard. Well done all involved and look forward now to the Next Generation.

I liked Worf best with "K'Ehleyr" - played by Suzie Plakson. She actually played FOUR characters on Star Trek - but my favourite was the half-Klingon, half-Human "K'Ehleyr" - the mother of his son.

Thanks for posting this! I love that the cast and crew loved working on season 3 as much as we did watching it. I've watched season 3 like 4 times. I highly recommend getting the Picard series Blu-ray as the extras are superb. Not just the season 3 extras, but for seasons 1 and 2 as well.

I'm doing a rewatch of Season 3 and find it to be even better than the first watch...which, at the time, I loved. I don't like serialized...like watching parts of a movie with a week in between....making the rewatch much better. I miss the episodic 26 episode seasons, with insights to each character and mixing in some 2-3 part episodes or a continuing storyline but still episodic (DS9 did a great job of that)

What I love about ALL the casts of the various iterations of the Franchise - is that every one of the members seem to ascribe to Gene Roddenberry's original Humanist philosophy. The inclusivity, the lack of judgement of other cultures, the political awareness of what it means to be those persons of that future . . . Each iteration seemed to have attracted people of like mind to play those parts. I'm sure most actors feel that they can play any part they audition for - some actors have played questionable characters - characters who are not akin to their own personal, spiritual, cultural lexicon. But it really seems that all the members of each of the Star Trek casts - have got this Humanist approach to Life in general - that it's not just part of the character they play on their iteration of the Franchise - not "just another job." I mean to say - it's been running for 58 years since it first aired in 1966 - and that Humanist foundation has been a constant underpinning thread that has always been the foundation of the Franchise as a whole. They have every RIGHT to be proud of the work they all did - and continue to do in the conventions, and these interviews. And I'm happy that they see that.

Jeri and Michelle are gorgeous and make a gorgeous couple. Relax, I'm talking optics vis a vis the *fingers crossed* proposed new series. And both can act their butts off. I think it would be terrific especially if Terry is helming it. That's why TNG is so damned good - a cast of stellar actors.

I "wrote" a song about it: Titan in the Wind by KarenLynn Robinson Goodbye, Captain Shaw Though we barely knew you at all You had the balls to tell them “NO” When TNG did call They crawled into your supper And they offered red Chateau Picard They thought youʼd cave to them Lend the Titan to the stars And it seems to me you lived your life Like a dipshit in the wind Never knowing who to dismiss When the grease set in And I would've liked to have known you But Worf, he ran and hid Your candle phased out long before Your smirking ever did 359 was tough The grimmest StarFleet holiday All engineering shouldʼve died And survivor guilt brings pain Shocked us when you died Oh, you deep, smart, caring you All you ever had to say Was that Seven had to you been proved And it seems to me you lived your life Like a dipshit in the wind Never knowing who to dismiss When the grease set in And I would've liked to have known you But Worf, he ran and hid Your candle phased out long before Your smirking ever did Goodbye, Captain Shaw Though we barely knew you at all You had the balls to tell them “NO” When TNG did call Goodbye, Liam Shaw From all us Trekkies who fill the rows Who see you as someone gone too soon More than just some random red-shirt Joe And it seems to me you lived your life Like a dipshit in the wind Never knowing who to dismiss When the grease set in And I would've liked to have known you But Worf, he ran and hid Your candle phased out long before Your smirking ever did Your candle phased out long before Your smirking ever did

Unpopular opinion - Patrick Stewart was Borg even before Star Trek came into existence. & btw Who ever haven't watched that one yet, I strongly recommend - Patrick Stewart on Extras.

Seven should not be going by the name Seven. She should have taken back her human name.
