to be fair, canonically in the original manga at least, last time he saw her was actually over 6 years prior and he did not have any people skills to recognize and differenciate people back then except maybe by scent and other monkey-man skills, but since then he sacrificed his animal instincts for combat skills and chi sensing, and she changed A LOT when she hit puberty... so of course he couldn't recognize a girl he briefly interacted with for a few scenes years ago. anime using Chi-Chi and Ox King in filler all this time was an unfair choice, made her hitting puberty late look Saiyan-like and only Goku was supposed to be weird aging like that until the halfbreads in Z... not that it was intentional by Toriyama. If I was a bit older when I first watched the anime in the late 90s I'd have been surprised by Chi-Chi's grown up appearance more than by Goku's, at least with the hair he still looks like himself, only a teenager instead of a kid / pre-teen looking shrimp.

Agreed, this is prettiest ChiChi in the series, in this arc easily even more gorgeous than Bulma, which considering Bulma's style is quite a feat. The pink blouse outfit at the end Buu saga epilogue comes pretty close though, just rubbing in how much she went for the 'mom look' instead of the hot asian wife potential she has.

I understand her perspective and the anger and mood change, but I also agree that Goku not remembering a random girl he met over 6 years ago once (anime filler shouldn't count) makes a lot of sense, especially for social airhead like him.

From her point of view her fiance just flew off years ago and she hasnt seen him since. She found out he would be at the world martial arts tournament, so she trained hard enough to get into the finals just for the chance to be reunited with him. She is super excited to show him how much he means to her, except when she finally gets there he doesn't even know who she is. That would feel pretty bad. She forgave him pretty easily though!

Tbh. Yamcha was the only one constantly insisting on Jackie being Muten roshi until roshi used nam as a decoy. With goku being the only other person who i think thought he smelled roshi but roshi then applying perfume to him to change his smell

@@dryder7078 true, but at the same time Nam was a completly different skin color at the time and it took Yamcha way too long to figure it out in the first place. But, Yamcha at the same time hadn't really trained with or really met Roshi other than a couple conversations.

most definitly a weird change, Tambourine 100% died that fight and I guess FUNimation somehow forgot everyone killed by King Piccolo and his men were revived.

Most of us know he was killed, but since they don't go public about the battle or the dragon balls, from King Chappa's point of view, he battled Tambourine lost and just woke up again.

@@IN-tm8mw I guess, but you'd think he'd remember having his soul stuck in purgatory. Maybe he thought it was a dream? Or maybe he's trying to sound cool by making it all up? Either way, it's weird for Goku to not understand that he would've been brought back, Goku shouldn't even know that he killed in the first place. Maybe FUNimation added this weird exchange so that TV veiwers who missed the episode where he's revived would be caught up to speed?

@@d-manthecaptain1382 I always wondered about that myself. Some humans who are friends with King Yemma, keep their bodies and memories, while it appears the normal person just turns into a white spirit. They may not remember anything after being revived.

She had a hard time balancing between her work, uploads on KZfaq and her health, she sent out a post during the memorial week apologizing for slacking on her uploads and that's understandable to take the time to rest and change up her daily uploads, there's no use of doing the uploads or live stream if you're not in good shape or having a hard time balancing life, that can be really on a person and us followers have understand her situation and encouraging her to take the time that she needs
