13:51 Homeless shelter. 6 months and 12 days. Had horrible abusive living situation and the first two nights here I slept better than I had in almost a year. Came in wearing my leis every day. A pink and white and a blue and white. For the first couple of weeks. Previous to getting here I had been wearing them as a celebration of a year of housing 4.18 leading up to my birthday 5.17 I celebrate myself and am myself in any situation. I kept to myself mostly the first month or so. The focus was on healing. Everyday meditation and modified bed yoga until I felt strong enough to go do yoga in a sorta park green area near by. Trust that it was challenging to just be and at the same time I couldn't put my life on hold until I got out of here. I still do my hand stretching exercises even though my guitar is in storage. One day it won't be but my hands and fingers are still being cared for and exercised. I had to tell some of my dorm mates early on when they were trying to belittle? my vegan/vegetarian background. There's an outside organization that makes food for a couple shelters here as well as make sack lunches for people in tents or on the streets near by. There's usually a vegan choice even if it's only a mixed green salad it's something. I had to tell someone wherever I am, I am. I'm also 45. I look maybe like I'm in my early 30s. My movements and attitude are generally upbeat even when I was trying to just be "invisible" and mind my own heart mind soul business. There's been a stupid amount of gossip and a couple of guys were really horrible with the dirty looks, gossip, that was jealousy and insecure and fear based. The energies here, like in hospitals, churches, attracts all kinds of demons and/or dark entities. But there are people of God, children of God present here. We see each other and encourage one another. It took about til month 5 before I felt more accepted and comfortable. A lot of trouble makers and instigator have left or been discharged in the past month. I do know now that people like me, are attracted to me, respect me. Familiarity and time and consistency in character and action have served me well as I serve God, love, Creation daily. It's been and is challenging. Lots of health issues and addiction issues. Resentment, fear, hopelessness, at times and there's also joy, encouragment. There's about 149 of us here. 7 or 8 billion on the planet. I am aware and attentive to this concentration of people. I'm grateful and yet ready to move on. I've never been around so many people. I've learned a lot. But yeh, of course there's people who don't like my shine, who tried to "test me". I've been too much, and lost so many people I love, that it's been easy to have boundaries here yet sometimes sticky to express them. Basically these are strangers. We are all adults and I don't owe anyone my time, my body. Early on people were always trying to dab? or bump elbows are pat me? my shoulder or back. Maybe because I'm little in physical stature. 5 feet. But I've had to say, I'm sensitive to touch and I can't be touched. My body is the vessel to my essence. Word got around and like I said, familiarity and time. Now I tap first to heart in greeting and some do it back. I've told them that it means I see you. My heart sees your heart. Like Namasté. Some get it right away. Some felt rejected which sucks. I was able to share with one or two guys, yes I want connection but not through physical touch. I honestly only want my future spouse to touch me. But yeh... so much. Thanks for reading 😊 and thank you for reading 🌸

I do vamp it up from time to time so I know people are like… well oh… okay then lol💁🏾‍♀️. Resonates from start to finish. What’s crazy is that I feel like when I cover up , there is insecurity and when I vamp it up, there is insecurity from other women so I’ve learned to just continue to be me. I just be in my own world and don’t bother anybody.
