You might know this lock from • (picking 602) ELCA Eur... where I picked and gutted it. In this video you see how I put it back together. have fun - it's not so difficult if you own a plug follower with a slot and a pinning shoe.

shipping to the UK is expensive - total for tool and shipping is $87.00 - can't afford that for a single tool If I can find a similar tool for less

It was just an example, foxxxy has 3d printed it. Others have also made them themselves from sheet metal. Or maybe another commercial source has them also. Good luck.

Great video. I had one today that required the front loader tool because the thumbturn side was not removable (without drilling), and your spot on about those cam pieces being different designs. Definitely need to pay attention when pulling apart so you know how they go back together. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you - this one was easier than the average but you need to try it yourself to gain experience ;-) It's just pieces of metal, not a piece of art ;-)

Great video - very useful to know how re-assemble - most videos show how to gut a lock but not how to put it back together - especially if it is a double sided euro lock

Thanks, many other euro locks are harder because of the cylinder length and different cam mechanisms - it's part of the fun ;-)

I did it without any specialized tools,only a flatened spoke and grease to hold the pins.

Exceptionally clear and educational tutorial! I've got the locks, just need the tools, patience and a little prayer to gut them. 👍 Is the pinning shoe you used homemade? I'm curious to see if I can make something similar from my "scraps" collection. 🤔 I really need to get my hands on Dremel type tool.

Haha, don't pray too much, just try it. Old euro lock are not hard to find and are cheap. I've messed up one or two but that's part of the thrill ;-) Have a look here for a home brew pinning tool kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gbZdbLaVsM_Sqnk.html It's made from a windshield wiper blade.

With the spring steel clips it's easy kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rtOZZsKC3NXVmn0.html But for these bendy ones, special pliers exit. But I'm not possessing these pliers so I'm just using two small screwdriver to tighten the clip.

Very true; these spring steel clips are very easy to handle but most likely a few cents more expensive.
