Hey Robin! I meant to tell ya. I use Furls Stainless Steal hook when making loveys. I have a 7 mm and an 8 mm hook. For me, they work great with the Bernat blanket yarn. 🥰 Have a great day!

Oh he is gorgeous!! I use Prym hooks when using Bernat blanket yarn. For me it helps. Too funny I wanted to find out how to add bobbles later as well because it drives me nuts trying to line them up. I will have to look for the video. I am looking forward to your pattern coming out, I have no doubt it will be amazing!!

It’s so easy to do the bobbles this way. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard or Prym hooks I’ll have to look into them.

I am IN LOVE with first streamline hooks. I was able to get a hold of some of the odyssey and fell in love with their metal hooks. The streamline is their new line of metal hooks and they are amazing. If you watch Elise Rose Crochet video on wobbles, her husband used a machine to measure the smoothness of her different hooks and Furls metal hooks blew them all away! I can tell you I use bernat and all types of yarn and it all flies off the hook! Hope that helps 🥰

I think having left handed crocheters is a great idea and I think choosing names from your yarn bowl is a very fair way to select from all the submissions.

Love the way you picked them the tester. Maybe next I can be a part of the ones that never got to test before. Also try using clover hook for bernat yarn. My hand was hurting using bernat yarn. But not since I use a clover 7 & 8 hook now that I bought.

I have the plastic one and I really like it. But everyone is different. Make sure you don't have a fake clover hook. I was making sure of that too.

Supposely what I read the size hook should not be in black and the name clover should be below the size hook in the front not the back. I had a hard time seeing the name when I first got them. 😊

Bernat needs an acrylic hook. I uae omi but others use ophire or if you want to pay a furls hook. Personal preference is omi as the other 2 cost too much as in uk. But both of those will be cheaper for you.
