All due respect to my glorious king but lewa has defintely not been better than yamal and neither has ter stegen since he was injured for a lot of the season. Proper order should be: 1. De jong- Gundogan 2. Gundogan- De jong 3. Cancelo 4. Yamal - Araujo. Also its unfair to call yamal's performances a "purple patch" when he has been doing it in practically every game he starts for barcelona. The reason u may have heard him die down some part towards the end of 2023 was due to the little minutes he got in the timeframe. He is by far the team's best-attacking option in the front three.

I agree with every pick except Barça. Even not at his best, Lewandowski has topped the stats for goals, goals + assists, and nearly the top on goals per 90 as well. Incidentally the highest goals per 90 on the team isn’t Yamal or Raphinha, but Torres. They’re just off on this one.

James Rodriguez first season at Madrid was as good, if not better then Jude’s . Not only did he get a plethora of goals and assists from midfield, but half of the goals James scored were puskas level goals that season. Underrated player who got shafted by managers and people not knowing how to use him.

Very interesting draw for the UCL this season. 1.Left Side: Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, PSG, Barcelona. 2.Right Side: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City. I will expect surprise winners in UCL, just like 2004, but I don't think it will be happened. Dream Final is PSG vs Manchester City. The beginning of new GOAT rivalry between Mbappe and Haaland. Or, PSG vs Real Madrid, if Mbappe wants to win the UCL as a big "farewell" party before switching to Real Madrid. That's my early pick. Anything is still possible for the other teams, even Arsenal!

L take. bellingham's ability in transition is unheard of and he has the stamina to cover so much ground to make up for kroos' lack of legs and valverde's darting runs or to reach his crosses. plus it is definitely not kroos, thats a joke, he is just your favourite. you didn't even mention your most important player (rudiger). for the whole season i'd say bellingham is your best player because he has improved attack, midfield and defence on his own, making real madrid a very scary team. valverde's first half of the season was insane but it is jude.

As an Arsenal fan, there is no best player in our team. All are equal and they know it. Zinchenko is as important as Ødegård, Jorginho is as important as Saka. Arteta doesn’t want a squad with competition for the best player. He wants a squad that is working together. That’s why he is not buying a striker. It would mean that the striker will be the focal point in both the team and would get more attention. This would create internal competition in the squad. Everybody in our team scores, presses, passes, defends etc. He wants players to compete for a place in the starting 11 but not for being the best player and the focal point of the team. This debate is useless.

The absolute disrespect to Frenkie de Jong/Gundogan 😭😭 For them not to be the first names mentioned when you think about Barca’s success this season mainly lies on them, especially Gundogan who’s been very consistent and important for Barca in La Liga and the UCL. Lewandowski too is also getting back on his form and he’s been very crucial in important games this season.

As an Arsenal fan Saka is not world class....He is very good and consistent but what he does on the pitch isn't special or world class. Saliba and Ødegaard are the closest to world class. Saliba is a Rolls Royce type defender and Ødegaard is like a magician. And btw Raphinha isn't even top 10 in Barca. Gundogan, De Jong, Yamal, Felix, Pedri, Lewandowski, Araujo, Christensen, Ter stegen and Cancelo are all better...A lot better.
