I agree with everything you said. The chrome exhaust and studded bags. I think we have a similar choice.

Let's hope that H-D's wire spoke quality is much better than models of the past which were prone to rusting. It's a pity that H-D discontinued the Deluxe, I really liked the styling of that model.

@@ThrottleDownunder If your spokes are looking as good as new, it might pay to mitigate possible rust infestation ... not sure how, maybe a spray on clear coat in a rattle can maybe?

Welcome back to HD..Get some of the front wrapped forks ect i used PPF stuff off ebay on my 21 ultra 30.000ks not a mark on forks . And Ceramic coating is a must so easy to clean i use and I use Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax as a topper..Nice bike FTW

Congrats looks beautiful, definitely needs Nate’s touch with LED’s for safety. And I agree about those studs on seat n bags but the aftermarket will fix that.

They are very underated the heritage , had a loaner when my R.K special was getting some warranty work done . I was impressed with it . If I was buying a second HD probably would be a heritage or fatboy. Just needs some white walls on that bad boy , that would make it look cool .

Congrats on the new bike mate. I agree with everything you’ve said. The GS is a better bike all around but it’s just transport and not the bike you glance back at after parking. If your a HD guy your a HD guy, there’s no escaping😂🤟

Personally I'm not a fan of the touring frame. The softail chassis is far better suited to my lifestyle. And this is the closest thing to a RK in the softail line.
