I need one for school. Its between the 9th gen and the mini 6- the only thing is the mini looks small for handwritten notes (I haven’t seen them in person). The 9th gen is 50-60 bucks more and requires first gen apple pencil 1. However, more screen space wich would be perfect

Well yes. But you might pay more depending on the storage capacity. An example is 256 gb air vs iPad pro 11 inch.

i really hate this "trendy" need to get the latest thing to ever come out, especially with apple products... and if we're talking about specifics, the 9th gen is actually really good for the price it still has (surely better than the 10th gen). honestly, buying an air 5 at that price after having recently spent on another new ipad sounds like a joke to me, but to each their own I guess :)

while it may seem like an unnecessary purchase, i think she’s allowed to spend her money on whatever she wants. as long as she’s not bragging (which i’ve never seen sofia do) it really shouldn’t be a problem :)
