Not true, walking helps start your metabolism. It's especially good to walk early in the morning. Just imagine, you can walk for 1 hour, and 30 minutes, or run for 30 minutes. I'd rather take 3 30 minute walks, then run for a half an hour straight. Running does create sweat, but has little, to no effect on your metabolism. So actually, you're quite wrong my friend. (•:
