Good video! I have the 605N cornstalk special and mine did this exact same thing but mine has 17-18,000 bales

I left john Deere to a new 605n select Vermeer this year. No regrets. Much better and heavier built machine. Just took it in for its warranty look over and updates. Take a lot of convincing to go back to the green ones again.

I did have to switch tractor few years ago and didn’t have the Monitor directly to battery and that didn’t have enough juice to kick out the pickup. It stayed running. And imagine that there’s net in the pickup. Lol. Clutch has to work properly. Imo

In 1990 My dad started farming and ranching bc he came back from being a civil engineer..... In the 90's and 2000's he tryed several brands of balers, Case IH, Hesston, New Holland, and Vermeer, He hated all those balers and had to fix them constantly. Then in 2010 he got the John Deere 568 and he loved it !!! we put a little over 19,000 bales on it but in mid July of 2020 John Deere had a program to save anyone $2000 on and brand new baler so we traded and got the 560M and 3 years later we have 6,200 bales on it (and we are not done haying ) And love it ...only had a small netwrap issue with it but it was under warrenty so that was good ... We will never have anything but a Deere baler because that is what we know and love... But if you really like Vermeer all the power to ya.. as they say I will do me and you will do you. 👍👍👍

That's awesome that Vermeer did that. Deere did that once for us once when the IVT transmission broke on the JD 7520 build in 2004 we bought that tractor used when it was no longer any Warranty on it, Deere and company said they will cover half when the dealer covers the other half which they did but other then that the Deere dealer isn't the best either.

Our 605N clutch actuator also exploded the other day. At around 2500 bales. It was replaced by our Vermeer dealer with the same actuator, didn't see this updated bracing.

they never let me down as far as service goes that was the whole reason I went from green to yellow just because of that fact.

John Deere sure wouldn't do that. Says a lot about Vermeer and their products.

u got easy problems, i felt sorry for a local farmer, he phones monday that he needs $$$ his wife is in hospital and kids hungry. so i said i will buy a b train load of barley. well he screwed us for the 3rd time. just lucky that load went into a empty bin and only barn #9 got plugged up. the hammer mill in barn #9 was plugged solid with wet, stinky rotten grain. the workers had to put on gas masks to clean out, then slowly auger forward what was still in the system. the grain in the bin we vacced it out. i called this farmer and he said we are just suckers. told him he will never get a penny from us ever again nor will he be selling to other fed lots when we black list him and his last name. wet grain plugs up everything and sticks to the sides of the flight of the auger causing future issues as well. we will keep buying grain through grain elevators, it costs more but we know its what its said to be and they inspect their loads better.
