I had to laugh when I saw what you were doing in this video I was working on my frames in my craft room and I was so excited about what you were doing I had to pull out my mushroom molds and my milk paint and had to do a sheep with the leaves I was so pleased with your video and my husband just love what I did but I had to share your video with him so he saw what I was following too get the same affect you did in this wonderful video. Brushing mica powder into the mold before pouring the resin in adds beautiful and subtle colors. Pops right out and no need to paint!

You inspired me to put together a Mother’s Day craft for my Sunday School class. I thrifted some 5x7 frames, printed off some aged hymn pages and had the kids chose their hymn, place that as the backing and add some flower stickers. They turned out so cute and the Moms loved them!

I’m in the middle of the mushroom painting and had to pause to say how much I am enjoying the point of view camera angle and just hearing the sounds of you working. I am so tired of royalty free music on everything I watch. It creates sensory overload for me. The mushroom painting was like meditation and I could use more of that! ❤️

You asked for suggestions so I’m going to offer a simple time saver. When you cut your music sheets & cardboard to fit frame, at the beginning,you could easily use glass as a template. Just cut with scissors & use as usual. This saves time plus makes the shape fit wonderfully. Love your ideas !

You know I wasn’t too keen on orange unless it’s carrot cake but once you put the aging wax on it, it was like OMG if that doesn’t look soooo good n so pretty. I liked the mushrooms n the colors you chose for them. My heart went crazy for the white oval frame with the yummy crackling n I’m so happy to see the sheep as the main focus. It all came full circle. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Oh my, loving the sheep and that oval frame. I love frames, especially oval or round. I absolutely loved the mushroom piece. I use set down and draw a mushroom “in the wild” to study the colors, the shapes etc. There’s one that was a pale pale orange that appeared to be almost translucent. That sheep reminded me, the other day at the Midland Flea Market, a vendor had a sheep that Kelly picked up to look at. It was a very old looking one that looked handmade with real spun wool fibers. I was really hoping you had gotten to see it and bought it. It was very cool looking. Have a wonderful weekend.😊❤

Thank you for the inspiration!! I have a HUGE wooden three foot round frame that I’d like to put a forrest scene with those wonderful IOD mushrooms in it. ❤❤❤❤. Big task. But so satisfying!!
