Hey everyone, I test two accessories for PEVs such as Escooter or electric unicycle. The Pidzoom Finger Horn FH60 and Charging Enhancer CE200 get put through their paces and I show features plus how I'm using them. Thanks to Pidzoom for providing them for review purposes.
Cheers Jono.

It's actually 5% off with code 'jono'! didn't say in the video. Corrections: Text should be "CE200". Cheers, and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your video! I was deciding between the fh60 and fh90. Now, I'm choosing the fh60 after watching it!

I just heard about the brand pidzoom and I'm a fan of the charger enhancer concept. It's a great fit for my lynx.

I use a similar bell for greenway riding, but instead of having in on my finger I mounted it to a piece of PVC so I could have a handle. It shouldn't be too difficult to also mount the finger horn to it. I'd probably make it so my bell is my default device at my thumb, then have the horn at either end of the PVC so I could just clap my other hand onto it or even use my thigh to sound the device. That would be my solution to not fumble so much in an already potentially emergent situation

Soooo I just started learning and my first wheel is the Lynx. Any tips for first time riders on larger wheels? It's because I'm a 220 pound guy that I went with it. Also picked up the finger horn and charger monitor based on your review. Looks solid.

@@jonoeuc still learning on them, too bad the tiresensor dont fit the s22 just my commander. still testing the smart charger. and i have the FH30 coz i dont drive in traffic, thinking about later getting a pidzoom fast charger and use together with the smart charger if i do long range riding in a day.

Good review 👍 I'm guessing the charger is going to be obsolete once everyone brings out wheels with a BMS. I like the alarm aspect but too loud for most of my rides.. Cheers

90% for storage? Who told you that fib? 3.7-8v is where you should be storing at, about 60% on the Lynx.
@jonoeuc
@jonoeuc 9 күн бұрын
ah yes that's definitely much better for longer term storage. I didn't say exactly what I meant. I'll top it up to around 90% for sporadic use such as a few days between rides. When I'm unsure exactly when the next ride will be and don't want it sitting at 100%! Is that too pedantic?
@skampster
@skampster 9 күн бұрын
@@jonoeuc even a few days between that’s to high a voltage for a wheel to rest at. What I do is basically with the PIDZOOM Charge smart, after a ride I set it to stop charging (lynx) at 137.3v and at that point, the lynx will sit at 59-60% and on the day I want to ride, I charge to 100% and ride straight away. If I’m only going to go for a short ride, I’ll charge Accordingly so when I’m home after, the wheel is below 60% and then charge back to 60%. The best thing about the lynx is that it’s relatively quick to charge on the day you want to ride. Now my Sherman S I have to plan out it’s charging the day before unfortunately, or start the charge to 100% at 4am. I store that wheel at 60% also. At least with the lynx you can see if the batteries are balanced, so there’s really no need to charge to 100% ever if not needed as long as they are balanced. The Sherman S is another story, it needs to be charged to 100% plus an hour after on green light to make sure. Also I’ve adjusted my lynx charger to Finnish charging at 151.0v so all the cells are just under 4.2, and they usually only have a cell voltage difference on 0.014v.

The CE200 was the main item and the FH60 was chucked in! I'm glad it was but the FH90 looks better for traffic use. Happy with the FH60 as an allrounder for bike path use too but it could be louder for road use. I'm guessing I'd prefer a bell over the FH30 but yeah it would've been cool to test them all.

oh no! your bell was so much more cute. scooter horns have no place on the shared use path in my opinion. they scare people because they aren't an expected noise.
@jonoeuc
@jonoeuc 5 күн бұрын
100% but as I mention in the video a bell just doesn't cut it in certain situations. Rest assured however for example on that cycleway along the highway I wouldn't use the horn on a pedestrian. Rather slow right down and use the bell or a verbal call out for passing. Cheers for your consideration!
