one of the best R& B groups in Philly music history! Love this song and the amazing talents of these 4 young men who made Philly proud. 38 years ago on this date, the Sixers won the NBA title, spawning this classic song!

..have always loved Pieces of a Dream but I have never heard them with this fine guitarist before..his sound, feel and tasty notes really lift the song to new heights..reminds me a little of Boston guitar playing..thanks for sharing this..massive..New York by way of Philly..1958!..stay safe..April 9, 2021..

Kyle Graves - Yes! Love this too. I taped this onto VHS tape in 1984, and I’m so happy that it survived all these years and was convertible. Special group, great concert. “When Moses Malo-o-o-o-one ... said to Dr J”. ❤️

Just finding this and I am so glad I did! What a masterpiece by the one and only Pieces of A Dream. Love the guitar solo. I was in college when this came out. Great memories!

Yes - I saw them play a couple of times in the 80s - At the old Valley Forge Music Fair, and at a stage in West Philly. They were the best.

The first time I heard this song, it was coming from your room at 2:20--the music teachers room--the woman in the stripped dress--I know you--and I thank-you for playing this after the student's left for the day--the song echoed thru the halls--so absolutely the coolest sound! This was in 1984. 37 years ago--I can't believe that I see you at 2:20---you must have gone to this concert around this time. Can't remember your name now. At Orchard Villa Elem.
