I had the privilege of seeing them perform at the library in the very small town of Ida, MI. The place was packed, and they put on a wonderful performance. Great music, and they seem to be genuinely warm, good people.

That`s no way to get along ! Love the Piedmont style blues what a song, Not heard this one before. Iv been really into the Blind boy Fuller stuff and Mance Lipscomb stuff, These two have blown me away, incredible music. Much love from the UK.

PS4 you should find some recordings by John Jackson. He made several albums, and this instrumental is on one of them.

Really wonderful playing. I'm so interested in this kind of playing being a big blues fan. With the Piedmont ,you can really hear that African influence predominantly. wonderful stuff. Thankyou .

A dynamic duo, you two sound great. This music is really from the Yesa People, collectively known as the Saponi, Catawba, Tutelo, Occaneechi, and other related Siouan speaking peoples from the Piedmont Region. And from the Tuscarora People, as well as the Cherokee. Ulali was featured on Rumble Indians Who Rocked the World. And you can clearly see, that this music is from America. And not Africa. The Delta Blues is the music of the Choctaw People, Charlie Patton was Choctaw. Howlin Wolf was Choctaw. Although Charlie Pride sang Country, obviously from the Blues he was Choctaw. And he is 2nd cousins with Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. The young Delta Blues revivalist. PEACE

The real question is, to what degree, did indigenous music influence these genres? In the same manner we cannot dismiss Native influence, we cannot dismiss African nor European influence as well.
