I found a mod that let's you marry the best mum in Stardew Valley, Caroline. All while Pierre goes through a divorce and has his life fall to pieces around him. It's perfect.

This is one of the best marriage mods I’ve ever seen for Stardew, and one of my favorite videos to come from this channel. The timing on Lewis’ letter and the flower dance happening right after the divorce! Like the game itself was conspiring in favor of the romance

6:35 this is a fun fact, in english (obviously, the original language the game was made) it's very vague what his secret is, "stash" can mean pretty much anything like 🔞 magazines or secret stash of money, and that's what the japanese, braziliam portuguese, chinese and other translations assumed! in the translations the ambiguity of what the "secret stash" is was kinda lost, for lack of words/phrases that would let it ambiguos or because the translation team just really assumed it was hidden money. And if it's money, kinda don't make sense, hid it, assume Caroline didn't know and she needed to know, like, couldn't the money just be the family saves for emergency??

It could be money, there are many reasons why someone would want to hide money from their spouse. Maybe Pierre is running some secret or illegitimate side business which the source of that money and he doesn't want his wife to know. Or he's cooking his books to downplay how much money his store actually makes to dodge taxes, then hides the extra money. Or it could be something benign, like he's saving up to buy an anniversary present/holiday and wants to keep it a surprise But I do agree that the translations should have maintained the ambiguity of the contents. The developer clearly didn't want to tell what the stash contains, it's something Pierre doesn't want Caroline to know about and that's it, the details are left to the player's imagination

I don't think the secret stash was money, but something rather expensive he didn't tell her he bought and she might have specifically said he can't buy for some reason. he literally owns a shop, he could hide the money in the register easily lol

I made scones and they are yummy (from mix but they are still good despite being blueberry, which I don’t like, maybe it’s good because I added lemon zest) also my mom and dad made pastries using sheet pastries and berries from the garden, I don’t like blueberries, as I said, but they are still yummy. Reminds me of Stardew Valley in the whole “home grown berries” thing. Wonder how much energy it gives me and if there’s a stat buff?
