Back my memory..... its the video from Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition in 2014. The full music version of the famous(!?) butterfly video. (Butterfly will land on my face at 4’30”)

I’m so glad you uploaded your entire rendition! No one seemed to have your entire performance, only the bit with the butterfly, though it was really cool to see how receptive it was to your playing and the song. I agree with Ferflute that you should’ve won the contest, but since I don’t know the grading process and the criteria’s that need to be met when it comes to classical music playing, I can’t say for certain the reasons on why it wasn’t so. Still, even though it was in 2014, I’m glad that the video introduced me to you and your line of work 😌

Thank you so much for your kindness comments!! Yes, as you think many people just see the fact that butterfly landed on my forehead on the moment. But if you see the entire video, you will realized how perfect time it came! I even thought the butterfly know the piece well!! LOL She's rocking out, really killing it, and then the butterfly just added this mysticism to the whole thing. It's like you can watch her suddenly attain Disney Princess Status

You should have won that competition. I still remember your Telemann, Kuhlau, Debla, Rosing-Schow, Prokofiev, Mozart, Nielsen. What a great flutitst!

@@yukieota7355 Since the Nielsen competition uploaded your performances to KZfaq (sept. 2014), my flute students and I have listened to them many many times. I always put you as an example in class. They know you as "the butterfly flutist" ... But you are much more!

Stretching a little bit, but I think this record was the purest forms of Bruce Lee's words... "Float like a Buttlerfly, Sting like a Bee" for that the softest touch was hurtful enough to her to concentrate on the craft itself, and go with the flow, she seemed way more into it after the butterfly went away.

Is this real or staged/fake, how would a butterfly get in to an opera house? Did she do this for attention ... she can have some pheromon on here forehead and have someone release a butterfly in the room
