The reason there's not loads of black managers isn't because they're being held back, it's because there's not that many choosing to persue a career as a manager. All the black managers I know (Chris Hughton, Chris Powell, Keith Curle, Paul Ince, Sol Campbell) have been given a far chance to succeed. 3/5 of them have had pretty successful careers and the other 2 failed and cried racism. Unless you want to give 50% of managers jobs to black people when only 3% are getting qualifiing and applying for the role, then you will never satisfy the kind of racist people that think you should be giving positions based solely on your skin colour.

Had we not been so keen at the start to free up hospital beds in preparation for the expected deluge, which never happened, we might be looking at a different scenario. The reason why the lock-down skeptics look at Sweden as an example is because its the only country in Europe which seems to have any sort of long term strategy. Sweden also did not have anything like the number of deaths that they would told they would have if they didn't have a full lockdown and this is reason enough to be skeptical of the so called science behind Morgans position .

ICU in Liverpool is at 95% capacity. What they don’t want to tell you is that the past 10 years were also similar numbers. This time last year was 90% and it’s been the same most years. They don’t have ICU and run them at 10% as it would be a waste. They always run nearly at capacity with a little bit of breathing space.
