They even have cruises devoted to cover bands. No one has ever to my knowledge pursue legal action against a cover band. Also Victor's wife may want to reconsider whom she's going after in this lawsuit As Donald Trump only hired the band. And in all actuality we know Donald did not hire the band it was hired through the events manager at Mara largo. This entire thing is rubbish and 100% Politically motivated.

The only reason Victor and Karen would ever think anyone thought Donald’s tribute was them is because his version of Village People (he came back in 2017 with all new members) is as much as a tribute band as Trump’s. The Ray Simpson led group which was around after Victor left in 1979 was an amazing group. Victor and Karen sued for his royalties and worked a deal with Can’t Stop to forgo the money in lieu of a license for 10 years to the name and image.
