I love how the gods manifest themselves in different ways to different people. The Wildmother speaks in visions and metaphor to Fjord and Caduceus, but needs a more...blunt approach with this crew.

"Did I swallow Ted?" "...you know what, sure." Edited to add: I hope people recognize how tough it is to DM a group like this without utterly losing control. The gang is doing a great job of balancing character nuttiness with actually playing the game, but Aabria is doing just as good from her side, allowing them to be themselves while keeping things moving.

I'm pretty sure the whiskey and milk bit is inspired by real-world folklore about leaving those things out as an offering for the fey folk, so it's actually quite a clever pull. (Also, honestly... I wonder. I've had moonshine ice cream and it slapped. I feel like with really good milk and some kind of brown sugar simple syrup, if you got the proportions right...)

I would just like to say the Nat 20 is the universe trying to mention the fact that if you can ever get an Alligator or Crocodile's mouth closed, you can keep it closed with like a child's strength. They're meant to be strong closing and biting, but have very little muscle to open them.

Crocodiles are legitimately know for one of there most terrifying attacks being called the crocodile roll where they grab something and become a washing machine just spinning wildly your thinking of sharks where if you turn it up side down it basically is stunned

A death roll is when a croc or gator bites something and then rolls quickly spinning the animal they're biting, it's usually done underwater so they drown. It's not what they did to the croc in this video.
