In this video, I take off from Honolulu International, climb to 30,000ft, and talk about various topics that will hopefully be helpful when flying the piston Duke.

As I’m by no means an expert on the Dukes, I would really appreciate it if you leave a comment if I’m saying or doing something which is incorrect. In the next episode, I will demonstrate how to fly and land the piston Duke with one engine, in terrible weather (coming soon). In episode 5, I will fly the turbine Duke. Please let me know if you have any requests re: topics, as I haven't started recording that one yet.

Very informative video sir! I think the plane needs to be tweaked as it is currently not realistic during climb. As always I learned a few things from you. Will use the forum to discuss the issues I believe the plane has as this is the wrong place! Great stuff.

@@captainpiett765 There's an episode 4 already? :O I'm torn between watching these and the Nepal adventures. I also have to find time to sim myself hehe. I need to start making videos again myself. Mine will be pretty basic compared to your wonderful external replays, I will bug you about your methods another time while you're editing!

@@captainpiett765 yes me too! there's a ton of FSX videos in playlists in my channel. The sim videos are pretty basic compared to yours. I made a few music videos back in the day which were so complicated I think I took a rest day on the sim ones lol! The A2A planes and OrbX tours were special though. This Duke reminds me of A2A at their heyday. I'm doing the F5 key thing on your channel rn. One more video from you tonight and I'm off to sim!

@@florida4life Many years ago I made a few videos in XP11. Might be still on my channel. Since then video editors have improved tremendously! Nowadays I'm using Wondershare FIlmora which is just perfect. By the way, it makes me very happy that you enjoy my channel. It's not a necessity for me to get a lot of likes/subscriptions and such, but feedback like yours certainly inspires me to continue making videos. By the way, episode 4 just finished uploading :) Today is a very special day for most Norwegians, so I made an appropriate ending for the occasion.
