It's actually not predetermined... Every time you pick a symbol there is a call to the RNG to pick what to give. Revealing means that what was shown was actually there... But not revealing just means the outcome was not a true pick, not that it's predetermined :) So in this game where you pick doesn't matter, that's true... But it has not decided what you're getting in each pick until you actually touch the screen...
