It has been free since MG started sailing, but I don’t know that it will always be free. I felt like Carnival was going to charge for this, Cucina, and Chibang, but made them free to help with social distancing back in 2021, and then people liked that they were free to they kept them free. But I also feel like they want to charge for them and we might see a change in the future. And I think they stopped having the nightly specials. They did away with them on Celebration at least, and I haven’t been on MG since then.

It’s basically just a small version of the lido breakfast. If you’ve been on Vista class, it’s the same as what they have in Ocean Plaza for breakfast.

Personally, I didn't love it because the skin was so chewy. Husband said that's what it's supposed to be like and that it was pretty good, but not worth rearranging your dining schedule for (as we had).

I don’t mind the tray in theory, but they don’t put a liner on it and the steak knives make a terrible sound and feel on the aluminum when cutting.
