PIGEON SHOOTING ON THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR ACTION PACKED FOOTAGE .

Welcome back to the channel in this video myself & Harry are out pigeon shooting on the hottest day of the year the the best of choices . we dig in on the side of the dyke because its sides are to steep . the setup for the hide is a umbrella then using 2 grille nets the adding natural cover to it .
we start off with using 20 ENFORCER PRO SERIES DEOYS as we've no dead birds . Once we get some dead birds we put 2 magnets out , it was very difficult shooting over the day with the heat & birds not wanting to decoy at times .
We stick the day out in the heat drinking over 9ltrs of water . Carl also makes an appearance in this one as he kindly brings us a Mac Donalds . plenty of banter over the day some great shooting from us both .

Glad to watch this. Hope we have as many pigeons coming to the decoys. We leave Oregon July 25 for Mintlaw, Scotland. Will shoot for 17 days with great guide Scott Cruickshank. We have shot with him almost every year since 2006. Some very good days!

Great to see you out again. Good bag on a hard day. Love Express cartridges but a lot of their cases are 65mm and they fail to cycle in my 3" auto quite regularly so may be the problem in the 3 1/2" chamber as well? Fiocchi pigeon 32 6 and gamebore velocity 30 6 no such problems..

Those green special game Lylavale carts pattern poorly in my opinion. Looks like they cycle badly too. From memory their a shorter hull best suited to older side by sides. Don't be put off from the cheaper Lylavale pigeon powers 29g there an excellent cartridge. Excellent content as always, farmer most happy I'm sure.

Some pigeons in that area great shooting lads....pity about that gun jamming...I use fiochi myself never an issue true my browning maxus ..express there very dirty shell's absolute muck

Hi The SX3 & 4 are not my cuppa tea had a sx3 ruined to good duck flights for me while up north , took it straight back to the shop when I got back . Sx4 my son-in-law had nothing but trouble with it . I tried to tell Harry not to get one but he’s deaf 🧏‍♂️ lol went & bought one didn’t he 😂

Very good, however I have shot big bags on my own also with a good friend and we never dig pits to shoot from. Yes you have softer ground but some of the ground here is like iron, by the time and work involved where you could be set up in 15mins saving loads of energy. Look fwd to the next video.

What happened to these pigeons? I would imagine with the temperatures that the meat soon spoilt. Unless you picked up regularly and had cool boxes.

I can assure you that they went to the game dealers. Wet hessian work’s brilliant they was kept in the shade under the wet sacks . 👍it’s not my first Rodeo .
