East Japan Railway Company's tourist train "POKÉMON with YOU Train" runs between Ichinoseki Station (Iwate Prefecture) and Kesennuma Station (Miyagi Prefecture). This tourist train has two cars:
Car 1: Communication Seats (reserved seating carriage)
Car 2: Playroom carriage
Ticket Sales Locations
In addition to a basic fare ticket, a reserved seat ticket is required to board the train.
Sales locations: Reserved seat tickets can be purchased at Midori-no-Madoguchi (ticket office), reserved seat ticket vending machines, station travel concierges, and "Ekinet"

仙台在住ですが、大船渡線にポケモンれ列車が走ってるって初めて知りました！気仙沼には震災前に何度かお寿司を食べに行きましたが、車ででした。。。車内販売で、必ず何かを購入しているてくてくさんは、偉いです。(笑) 地元にお金を落としていただいて感謝です！規模が小さい幼稚園や保育園の遠足に使ったら、子供たちは喜びますね。

いつもありがとうございます！確かに地元の方だったら車の方が便利ですよね🚗　フカヒレ食べてみたかったけど、今回が断念しました😢動画にはしてませんが、気仙沼でイベントをしててホヤボーヤに会いました。地元では結構有名なんですかね？　確かに幼稚園や保育園の遠足だったら迷子にならないですし、よろこんでもらえそうです！

I love everything about Japan from its culture to the food and even the trains. A culture of respect, gratitude and you know how to make sure things look as good as they did the first day they were made. Shame we cannot learn from this here in the UK. This train would have been vandalised by the youth within the first few days if it were here :(. Wish I could live in Japan

Having a rather bad day with my health today, so watching this has bought a much needed smile to my face! There's so much cuteness in this I doubt it could be adequately described in any of the four languages I speak! Konichi'wa! 😊❣😇 I wish we'd do the same things here in the UK. We appear to be quite close to Japan culturally, so I think this sort of thing would fit in very well here. A regular _Thomas the Tank Engine_ themed service would be a definite winner, especially if it terminated at an island station like Sheerness for Sodor! 🚂🇬🇧😀 By the way: Did anybody else happen to spot a small irony in that a train heavily decorated with images of Pikachu - An _Electric_ Pokémon - Was formed of two single-car *diesel* multiple units? 🚈⚡🙃
