He is keeping it in the power band, its a stroked 2.0 to 2.3 and short gears. The F20c has high compression high revving engine from the factory. When stroked and boosted they would lower compression and most likely lower revs. Turbo setup are key to making effective power on these motors bc they tend to make NA power only above 5500 rpm, and peak power above 7k rpm. So they have to be rung out. That being said, they are at a higher altitude so the tune is def different than they'd normally run. But you can still hear the boost come on where you'd typically have it in the rpm range for this application. IMO its useless to have boost on low rpm's on these applications(where it runs out at a lower rpm as well). He his not straightlining, drag racing. He wants a smooth shift in power higher up. I think peak boost is over 7k, but i cant see bc of the steering wheel. That coupled with the short gears, he is always in the band he needs to be and yes a bit of unsureness on driver's part on how the car is going to react, he is keeping the car in the most effective rpm's.
