So many good instructions in this to perfect form. I appreciate the sandwich metaphor. The slow pace allowed for great burn in the abs, while still be gentler than a faster-paced session. Thank u!

Hi Mira! Is it fine if I address only 1 area in a day, like today i did abs? And I do only your video, no cardio or anything bc my ankles are severely sprained and I don't have a treadmill at home so jumping exercises are the only cardio but i can't do that because of my injury

Everyone is a little different and I can't see your body or habits to give you personalized advice. But below is some general advice that you can customize and apply. I would normally recommend workout at least 3 times per week, but it is safe and good for you to do Pilates every day. Results are very dependent on your sleep habits, diet, stress, and exercise. I believe small improvements in all of these four areas will be more beneficial for most people than only doing an exercise revolution. I personally do small workouts every day rather than large workouts and rest days. If you would like to work your Abs, Pilates is pretty good at doing that in nearly any workout you could select. Hello Mira! in 10:43 does the spine imprint or do the sandwich? And I am confused with the scapula position during cat stretch. Are they need to be squeezed and down or only squeezed when the neck is elongate?
