I spent my vacation in Lucerne in Sept. 28. The beautiful places to see and explore made me decide to come back and will spend my Christmas in Lucerne on December 24 & specifically at Mount Pilatus on Dec. 25 . Looking forward to more fun.

Pilatus is definitely one of the best peaks to explore in Lucerne area. The views from the top are spectacular. Though, for hiking trails, I prefer those at Rigi. Great presentation of how the Golden Round trip looks like Tanya! I relived it through your beautiful shoots. :)

0:04 filmed 10 June 2023 ? should be 2022? The cogwheel railway runs from 18 May 2023 until 19 November 2023.

How long did your outing take? I’ll be in Lucerne and will be doing this exact excursion. Just want to make sure I know the timing.

Hello Tanya. Thank you very much for the excellent explanation. I have a question. Can we start the route from Alpnachstad? Go up to PILATUS, go down to Kriens and then take a boat back to Alpnachstad? And do you know - is there parking in Alpnachstad close to the cable car? Thank you.
