You can insta stagger it with dual songbird and a single bazooka on the right hand leaving a melee option or another gun for the direct hit damage.

Thanks for the build idea man. I used dual songbird, right hand bazooka and piledriver left hand combo. Took me 1 try.

it's better to hit it with both birds, wait for them to reload, an then go in for a melee hit and then unload bazook and double songbirds on it during stagger

@@clustercluck personally I would build up some stagger with the bazooka and hit it up close because I can double down on the pile bunker hits.

Dude. Was so stuck on this guy. Lot of people saying double gatling gun was way to go but didn't work for me. This build took me 2 tries. Great advice my guy.

Build for quadruped with two song birds an energy blade and either a high impact weapon or continuous damage weapon to keep constant stagger but maximize damage and keep chase. Even in the air for final phase quadruped allowed constant damage since you can maintain altitude.

After my first couple tries I decided that a long range build would be good. I beat him with 2 songbirds and 2 bazookas. Then I saw this video title with a pile driver build and said "Oh it'll be interesting to see a different approach" but in the end it was actually pretty similar. Cool to see that we started from different places and the game mechanics resulted in our solutions converging. Cheers

Thank you very much! Only thing I changed was to put 2 Songbirds instead n swapped the legs n helmet to fit more of my playstyle. Ur main concept overall worked splendidly 😈. I even took a nice selfie over his corpse 😆

Managed to get him with a totaly different build, but was curious to see what other people went for since it took me a while. That was interesting strat ! I might go more for melee weapons, that thing is lethal 🔥

Personally prefer the reverse jointed legs for it, makes dodging his lasers cheaper on energy (since you can dodge some of them with just jumping) and makes jumping up to him in phase 2 a lot easier.

I ran double songbird, bazooka, regular blade because I didn't realize pile bunker was there yet haha. but it worked. just had to hit both songbirds, let them reload, then go in for a double melee hit to stagger, back off and fire both songbirds and the bazooka and get the hell outta there before the next attack. repeat a few times and he's down. got to wait to have a good position and full boost before you start the stagger sequence

Looking to see how others are beating him. I haven't done it yet, but I've gotten _super_ close with a really light build, the charge rifle, a pulse sword, and the laser cannon. Doesn't stagger _nearly_ as quickly as your build, but I feel like my AC is almost too fast for him to hit me easily. I definitely take some damage but it almost always feels like it's due to missteps on my part, like getting to greedy to add some extra damage. I was actually worried going up against him after hearing how many people have gotten stuck and with how much trouble I had with Balteus, but I'm actually having a lot of fun with this fight. I feel like I just happened to have a really good build for fighting him, which is nice because it's my preferred build anyway. lol

I used double shotties double song birds after trying damn near everything and for the booster choice made it work. Once I put on the allula i did it first try. Good luck we got this!

Finally beat the boss, When they charge the laser in phase 1, I found it much easier to dodge if you are in the air.

I used dual laser rifle, 8cell missile, and pulse blade. Mainly a really light build.

Don't forget to do the training missions as there's a free buster from one of them, that has much better QB reload than the BST-G1.

dual songbirds with dual gatlin guns did the trick for me on a tank build with as much AP as I could manage... I almost beat him with dual laser canons and plasma rifles ... I had him one shot multiple times and fumbled at the last second ... I was so relieved to beat this boss , since him the game has been pretty easy

Dam he really made him look easy lol I had dual plasma pistols, the x10 rocket launcher, and the plasma launcher when I beat him if your struggling with the blades of death just jump/float and boost over him that’s what worked for me

3:38 isnt the melee specialization only for when you use fists?

Firearm specialization vs melee specialization, this has been my favorite topic since the game drop lol. Firearm specialization affects your weapon tracking, meaning your shots will hit more but will still do the same damage. Meanwhile melee specialization is a damage increase, 102 melee spec arms will cause 2% more damage on hit for melee weapons compared to a 100% melee spec arms.

This fight is actually hard on console the assualt boost is set to L3 as standard controller and i cant help but click as i fight

I beat it with ONLY a gatling gun and pile bunker slaped on a ultra light reverse joint. Never even had to use a repair kit cause i was so nimble he couldnt hardly hit me

If you've farmed enough money or still having troubles: Tank treads, full tank build, double minigun, double songbirds. Open with double songbirds and minigun. Insta stagger. Shoot between legs into main body part with all you have. Repeat. Easy low skill brute force build.

The funny part is literally everyone explaining how to beat a boss is always completely out of health packs and are 1 hit away from game over yet these are the "tutorials" lol
