As a teen, Pillar was a staple in my early appreciation of hard rock. I had 2 albums and an EP, and they were right up there with Skillet and Red as far as I was concerned, though they never quite got as famous as the aforementioned. I love this song, along with: "Bring Me Down" "Fireproof" "Whatever It Takes" "Turn It Up" etc.

At the time when there first couple albums came out Fireproof and Where Do we go from here? They were up there with bands like Skillet and TFK, after The Reckoning album came out thats when the band Red came out.

I got the chance to see Pillar live along with a rapper I believe it name was like K-19 he was a Christian rapper at a mini-golf place near where I lived. Pillar is how I found out about a band that would ultimately be a top 5 all time band in Skillet. Still jam both of them and have since I was in 8th grade and I'm 32 now lol.

The band is a well known Christian Rock band. I've had the pleasure of meeting them and seeing them in concert quite a few times. They are a great band, them and Skillet.

When you walk outside and you see people of all races and beliefs living together in peace, it is easy to take the peace for granted. If you spend the day listening to CNN, FoxNews and MSNBC.... you would think that every white person was in the klan, every black person was a gang member .... that every Jew and Muslim were caving in each others skulls. etc etc.... I would put it to you that religion is one of the things of war, at the same time a greater source of tolerance.

@@anonymous-es5giApostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:11 to "Put on the full armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil". The only ones that are against are the ones that are involuntarily led by Satan and are of this world. Since we are not of this world, we gotta encourage others to not be a part of it so they won't get their lives discombobulated because they don't have God in them to protect them. Since a handful of us have the gift to encourage, we gotta do it when God tells us to do so.

I'm new to Christian rock and I have gotta say the guitar work in this whole song "ESPECIALLY" The main course! There is so much going on there... that isn't just simple power chords... epic band! Pillar and thousand foot crutch have basically taken over my play list... rarely do I listen to my regular metal music now... 🤜🤛🤙

Read Isaiah chapter 40 at least once a day. After a while, the truth will penetrate. Also read Romans 6 through 8. Remember to come to him in the affliction instead of waiting until things get better. Come to me all you who ARE weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Blessed are the poor in spirit for they shall be comforted. He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies. The Prodigal Son came home in his affliction, not waiting until he got better. They should lay off especially when we tell them to not do so, all they'll be doing is pray to a wall. There is bound to be something to upset someone but you trying to force someone to not pray for you because you're an Atheist would be the same them saying they are praying for you except which one is actually forcing the other to bend to someone's will? You are trying to force someone who believes strongly in praying for people who do not believe in God which could be just about anyone not just Atheist. Secondly, is it really hurting you that badly from what they said, I mean did they harm you physically are attack your beliefs? Slow the song down to 0.75% and listen to the beginning. It seriously has the COOLEST sound to it! I used to do that all the time when listening to this on the computer. :)
