Pillow Cover and Insert Tips & Tricks

Күн бұрынHey there, guys! Today I'm sharing my tips and tricks for pillow covers and inserts! See how I style them on my bed, always going from largest to smallest!! My main tip is to always size UP for your insert - i.e. if you are using a 26"x26" Euro sham pillow cover, use a 28"x28" insert! It will fill out the cover better created more fluff and volume!

Watching you is like watching a show on HGTV! I am hooked!! Funny story, I screenshot and saved a bedroom pic on IG for inspiration and then today I was searching for ways to style a bed and ended up on your channel. Thanks so much!! I have a king sized bed and I am glad to know that it’s ok not to have your duvet or coverlets hanging. I have never been able to get the king size look because of having a king bed!! 🙏🏽

So glad I found your channel! I’m so obsessed with pillows. My grandma made the most beautiful settings on her bed.. I’ve taken on her craft🎉 Question: so if I want my pillows to have that snug fit. I’d buy a insert 1 size up from the pillows? Ty so much love your color combos 🎉🎉🎉

Excellent video! I have a 22" leather pillow cover which I would like to stuff really full and tight so it can be sort of a lumbar pillow. Would I just use a 24" down insert - or would this be too soft and fluffy for the lumbar-style?

Hi! Can I ask what color range do you like to shop from for your bedding? You mix cool white with ivory, cream, maybe some taupe ??? Is there a tip you can share to make all the shades look good together? Thanks for the video!

Thank you for sharing. I was so frustrated with my pillows not looking full. Now I know I need to purchase a size up for the filler. For the coverlet do you purchase the size of your actual bed or a size down?

Of course! I suggest getting the size of your bed.

My question is what size throw pillow do you need to make a queen size bed look full edge to edge cause I currently have 18x18 and it takes 4 but I just want 3 but I still want it to look full edge to edge so I clearly need bigger size throw pillows but what size, I’m not sure if 22x22 or 24x24

I love your content and your advices!! I would like to know if you would maybe have a solution for me, because my boyfriend is allergic to natural down and feathers in the pillows...would you know if there is some synthetic pillows from some brands that would keep the shape I want like you do? From all reports always go 2 inches larger For 26x26 shams use 28x28 inserts

I’m late here and through trial and error figured out how to get the perfect insert to cover ratio , you would need a 24x24 cover for your 26’ pillow inserts , you would think it would be to small nope it will fill it out perfectly

Why the new fad of creasing pillows in the center? It looks like a persons butt and legs standing on their head. It does not look inviting. Hmm maybe to some strange weird people. Is this some king of swinger symbol like the pineapple? Just looks a fad from HGTV.

Fjafdrar duck pillows from ikea stinks! Even after washing drying and airing them out. Avoid them at all cost! Just threw mine coz the smell is just unbearable
